Everyone knows spaghetti carbonara. But have you ever tried it as a sophisticated filling in a momo?

For this limited-edition summer version, we combine crispy-fried bacon from the Heinzer butcher shop in Muotathal with creamy egg yolks and aromatic Parmesan. The result is a wonderfully rich filling that reimagines the unmistakable flavor of this Italian classic. The flavor experience is rounded out by the delicate, fruity heat of freshly ground black pepper. The result is a momo that’s hearty, well-balanced, and surprisingly light—and is guaranteed to leave you craving the next bite.

These momos were created in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Christian Vogel of Birdy’s in Brunnen.

Ingredients: Dough made from WHEAT FLOUR (contains GLUTEN), water, salt, sunflower oil. Filling: Bacon (CH), EGG YOLK, Parmesan (contains MILK), black pepper, MILK, flour, salt, white balsamic vinegar (contains SULFITES).
May contain traces of SOY, CELERY, or MUSTARD.

Easy preparation:
Pan-frying: Fry the frozen momos in a pan with a little vegetable oil until golden brown. Add approx. 200 ml water, cover, and steam for 10 minutes.

Steaming in a bamboo steamer: Bring water to a boil. Line the bamboo steamer with the perforated steam paper (included free of charge). Arrange the frozen momos loosely in the steamer and steam for 15 minutes.

Our momos are flash-frozen immediately after production and shipped in special insulated packaging with dry ice. This ensures they reach you in perfect condition anywhere in Switzerland.
